The 50 is the baby of the Sunreef range although don’t for one moment think this is a small catamaran. Boating unrivalled volume cleverly designed to create a yacht much larger than her length suggests. The Sunreef 50 surpasses everything else on the market of a similar length when it comes to design, style, quality and comfort. From sailing around the mediterranean to crossing the Atlantic this seaworthy luxury catamaran will get you over the horizon with minimum fuss, effort and stress. She is ideal for luxury charter and transoceanic adventures.
With a huge living area totalling 167 sqm you have the option for dining and relaxing either on the spacious top deck with room to relax, eat, drink and steer from the helm station. The aft cockpit which boasts the dining table and the forward relaxation area giving you a nice breezy space to sunbathe either at anchor or on the move. Head inside and the cleverly laid out saloon has galley to port and comfy sofa area to starboard, forward is the second helm station.
Head down into the hulls and you will find a truly customisable range of layouts to suit all tastes. Holding an important place as the entry into the Sunreef range, the Sunreef 50 is anything but basic and everything the larger yachts are with a superior level of comfort and luxury just in a more compact catamaran format. Perfect for owners that want a high quality yacht which they will sail alone without crew or for smaller families that want just 1 or 2 crew.
We love the ultimate customisability of Sunreef yachts, choose from many layouts or design your own, the interior designers have an endless array of fabrics and colours to customise both inside and out. We are currently specifying a 50 with larger engine rooms and bigger shaft drive motors for an owner that wants to “get there quickly” when the wind fails to show up and the sails come down. Anything is possible, even big modifications like this, Sunreef’s designers always embrace these new projects and make it work for the owners.
For a 50ft Catamaran this boat is full of tech. She has a hydraulic lifting platform at the stern capable of lifting a powerful 245 Williams Jet Tender or taking an extra sofa thus extending the cockpit area by double for some cocktails “by the sea”. There are also generators, water makers, air-conditioning and top of the range audio visual and navigation electronics.
All in all this feels like a Superyacht and it’s hard to believe she’s only 50 feet with a new yacht on the water for less than €2m. A Sunreef 50 will do as well in charter mode as she does in private owner use so it’s a truly versatile yacht for the modern, go everywhere owner.
The Sunreef 50 is an all-around compact sailing yacht ideal for exclusive getaways, charter and transoceanic adventures. Her clever bridge deck and superstructure design allow for a superior level of comfort onboard whereas the generous teak use, high bulwarks and classy lines underscore her modern style with a classic edge. Her saloon opens both onto the comfortable bow terrace and the yacht’s cockpit which is extended with a hydraulic aft platform.
The hulls provide impressive volumes to set up a custom layout including airy, luxurious guest cabins and an opulent master suite with a walk-in dressing, desk, sofa, retractable TV and an immense bathroom. While housing the main helm, the large flybridge is definitely dedicated to leisure with more than enough space for movable furniture, a fully-equipped wet bar and large sunpads.
