With a High-capacity solar array of 16.8 kW per hour, providing up to 90 kWh of energy per day under optimal conditions. This delivers exceptional independence from shore power and dramatically reduces running costs.

Despite the full solar coverage on the flybridge and coach roof, Melissa features the up/down retractable flybridge roof. This is a major upgrade, offering protection for the panels when needed and open-air enjoyment when desired.

This Silent 60 has a special upgrade making her even more energy efficient, then the next solar-electric power catamaran, with a complete Kite sail propulsion system. The Kite sail is flown at heights where the wind is stronger, resulting in the pulling power being up to 10 times stronger than conventional sails. As part of the complete Kite system, this innovative upgrade includes a dedicated forepeak compartment to store the Kite and the infrastructure and electrical connections for the installation of the winch and mast.
