October 29, 2025

When Gunboat launches a new model, the sailing world listens.

This year at Cannes Yachting Festival, Gunboat announced their newest Flagship model the Fusion 80, Gran Turismo Catamaran. Here’s why we’re excited to tell you about it…

Gunboat have long been synonymous with high-performance sailing catamarans, with racing DNA, and onboard comfort. As we sail into the new era of the Fusion 80, we gain yet another level of onboard luxury.

Race DNA meets Gran Turismo luxury

The Fusion 80 marks a new chapter, representing a bold evolution of Gunboat’s DNA. Their earlier models like the 68 and 72 set the benchmarks for performance and comfort, now the Fusion 80 aims to raise that bar. Designed for owners who want the adrenaline thrill of performance sailing without compromising on luxury or style.

The Fusion 80 is built from lightweight carbon fibre offering exceptional stability and agility, capable of speed under strong winds. With retractable daggerboards, state-of-the-art sail systems make handling effortless for both seasoned sailors and professional crews. The aerodynamic rig and hybrid propulsion system reduce drag and emissions, ensuring speed and performance with sustainability in mind.

Moving swiftly inside, the bespoke interiors blend comfort and sophistication, offering a refined luxury that feels like home. The open plan layout encourages an indoor-outdoor flow from the bow lounge to the aft with the bridge deck saloon being the heart of the yacht. In the hulls, the 19 m2 owners cabin features not only panoramic windows, fill the cabins with light but, it’s own private access to the water. The Fusion 80 sleeps up to 6 guests in 1 x Master and 2 x VIP cabins. With additional crew and captain cabins, a crew mess and galley, this really is a perfect fusion between performance, innovation and luxury lifestyle.
