The Cannes Yachting Festival is due to take place 7th- 12th September across both Port Canto and Vieux Port. Since 1977, the Yachting Festival takes place every September in elegant, luxurious surroundings in the sparkling bay of Cannes and sees the major players in the yachting industry come together, revealing classic models and debuting new ones to the show’s guests.
Vieux Port, one of the oldest harbours on the French Riviera, each year welcomes prestigious exhibits, composed 100 % by motor boats and presented by the world’s largest shipyards. This year, the Vieux Port will host 450 motor boats ranging from 5 to 45 metres in length, featuring many new products. Vieux Port is also the setting of the Luxury Gallery, an area dedicated to luxury and the art of living.
The Port Canto gathers the Sailing, Yacht Brokerage & Charter and Toys Areas. This year, it will host a sector dedicated to innovation for the first time, showcasing several start-ups. 108 new boats ranging from 10 to 35 metres, both monohull and multihull, will be on display, with 20 global launches, including the new CNB 88. Also in Port Canto, the large previously-owned yachts are exhibited in-water with 50 or so second-hand boats over 22 metres in length in the Brokerage Area and nautical toys are presented opposite on the quay.
There will be maritime shuttles that connect the two ports every fifteen minutes.
The S6 Marine team will be at the show if you would like to book a meeting to discuss your new project, give advise, and show you what is available and what would best suit your needs and desires.
A boat show like Cannes presents a great opportunity to prospective owners because everything you need is in one place, yet it can also be an overwhelming task to take on alone. With years of experience, our team are experts when it comes to yacht purchase and we understand the importance of giving undivided attention to each project and client to ensure the yacht is everything you imagined it would be.
Project management by S6 Marine means you always have a second opinion, you always have someone watching the build, speaking to the shipyard and designers, co-ordinating the surveyors and flow of options, extras and equipment. We believe a yacht show like Cannes is the best place to start in this journey, so don’t miss out.
